7th GRADE SCIENCE : Article 35 : PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS PARTS.
( 2/5/18 Monday )
* Activity 3.10 : Periodic table of chemical elements and atoms.
PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS.
3.10.a Checking elements from the periodic table of elements :
At the following periodic table of elements you can check its different
parts and how chemical symbols and elements are organized depending
on its chemical features. Check it in order to achieve questions and
activities shown at task page A :
( 10 points ).
( 2/6/18 Tuesday )
* Activity 3.11 : Elements and atoms names and organization within periodic table
of elements.
3.11.a Checking elements from the periodic table of elements :
At the following periodic table of elements you can check its different
parts and how chemical symbols and elements are organized depending
on its chemical features. Check it in order to achieve questions and
activities shown at tasks pages B, C and D :
( 10 points ).
3.11.b Open the following link about an empty periodic table of elements and
fill out the gaps given with the chemical element symbol, atomic
number and the name of the element :
( 10 points ).
( 2/7/18 Wednesday )
* Activity 3.12 : Elements and atoms names and organization within periodic table
of elements.
3.12.a Use the materials given by your teacher to build an atom as the model
shown by your teacher, in order to form a similar atom with
all its protons inside an its electrons outside surrounding it.
Follow the instructions given by your teacher in order to choose one
element from the periodic table of elements to build your atom model.
> Links to check for learning more about atomic number :
- Atomic number, protons and electrons into the nucleus :
( 25 points ).
( 2/8/18 Thursday )
* Activity 3.13 : Checking different reactions to be done. Categories for realizing
that a chemical change or reaction is ocurring.
3.13.a Follow the instructions given by your teacher in order to perform the
different reactions and physical changes suggested by your teacher.
Treat the material and follow the procedures as told by your teacher.
