   - ACTIVITY 1.2 : Forces are very important in every facets of our life. But today we’re going to analyze what they have to do with the structures that surround us.

      1.2.b   Build that triangle structure in order to support a pile of books.

                 Use the materials given by your teacher to build it.

       1.2.c   After building the structure you have made and checked, talk in pairs about the reason why it is necessary to have a bunch of these triangle strucutures in order to support an object.  What is happening with the forces around these triangles?.

              

                        Write your answer at your notebook and show it and give it to your teacher.

 - Make a report of what you have done in class about building your stiffen structure.

           FORCES AND INTERACTIONS.

   - Pre-task (5 points) :

    - First of all, we should check what science is and what is used for, because we are studying forces and forces are just a part of the big branch of Physics (science).

      1.0.a   Sit in groups of four and write in a sheet the answers you think are appropiate for the following questions :   (discussion in groups).

         - Copy the following questions in your notebook :

What science is? , what is it for? , How many parts does it have? , Which ones are we going to study? , do we use it in our daily life?...

          * Activiti 1.1 (10 points) :    Force’s effects.    ( 8/22/17  Tuesday )

1. In order to learn what a Force is and the effects Forces can produce we develope the ACTIVITY 1.1.

   

      1.1.a  In this activity you are going to follow your teacher instructions in order to manipulate the following materials : Two pieces of paper, a pen, marble, your own hands.

      

                 In pairs, with those objects, ask your partner what you must do to get the following effects :  

                       - Folding.

                       - Deformation, loss of shape.

                       - Breaking.

                       - Heating.

                       - Change of velocity, turn, spin, motion.

       1.1.b  Draw a chart at your notebook in which you write the effects a force can do.

                 Besides the effect write a little description of an example of you have done in order to get that effect.

                 Draw a chart like this :    CHART.

        1.1.c  We should try now to explain what a force is, what it is not an easy task.

                  Talk in a voice level 2 with your classmate about how to explain what a force is. Try to explain to each other without using the Word FORCE.

 

         1.1.d  Once you have talked for a while, and when your teacher tells you, watch the following video and after watching it, talk with your partner again trying to explain now with other words what you thing a force is.

                     After watching the video and talking with your classmate, write a proper definition at your notebook about what you think a force is. You can use an example (situation) in order to explain it.

           1.1.e    > Once you have written your own definition about what a force is, copy the following description of a force :

 

           A Force is :

 

                      a) A force is a push or pull upon an object resulting from the object’s interaction with another object.

   b) Whenever there is an interaction between two objects, there is a force upon each of the objects.

   c) When the interaction ceases, the two objects no longer experience the force. Forces only exist as a result of an interaction.

     - In order to develop a proper environment for a good learning process in class and for the students to get most profit of contents the following statements must be followed by every student :

4ESO Física i Química : ARTICLE 130 : Static fluids. Pressure and hydrostatic pressure.

  - We are going to learn in this lesseon about a magnitud close related to forces, the pressure into a fluid and the statics into fluids. We will also learn too about atmospheric pressure and other issues.

    We will begin studying how a force acting over a Surface can cause pressure.

Eines TIC 1ESO : Article 1 : Mp3 d'animals al powerpoint.

- Cal que us descarregueu els arxius que us agradin de sons d’animals a la següent web i després que els enganxeu a la foto de l’animal que haveu enganxat en un PowerPoint NO del DRIVE, cal que sigui una presentación Powerpoint, no del PowerPoint del drive perquè el del drive no deixa insertar arxius d'audio mp3.

   *     Per tant el que cal que feu és el següent : 

          Enganxeu fotos d’animals a un PowerPoint, però no el que hi ha al drive, després en aquesta web que us dono descarregueu els corresponents arxius de so amb els sons dels animals que us agradin i els enganxeu a la foto de l’animal del PowerPoint, de tal manera que, al PowerPoint , quan feu click sobre la foto s’escolti el so que fa aquest animal .
